Dickerson Creek Waterfall

In the summer of 2020, I spent a lot of time walking the same paths over and over to train for a 100-mile backpacking trip. One of those paths took me right by Dickerson Creek Waterfall.
One morning I woke especially early to reach the falls before the sun started to shine on them. This photo is from that day.
It was a quiet morning and the only sound was the steady falling of water. I sat alone by the waterfall for quite some time pondering how lucky I was to be there.
